What is Eating Out Austin?
This isn't just a fun lil foodie instagram page anymore. It is, but Kat Menter has also built a website with an extensive list of 75 of the best happy hour deals that is filterable by neighborhood and day of the week, to make it easier to bar hop than ever before.
She wanted people to see the website, thus the IG page.
But then she needed content for the IG page, and after an onslaught of enthusiastic "i want an invite to the next content dinner!!" messages, she started Supper Club.
After 15 weeks of free events, a community of foodies who could tell Kat exactly what they wanted, Kat built this event for them: a tasting menu, designed for us by the restaurant owner/head chef, and the ability to talk to them about their story, their journey, and exactly how we got to the flavors we experience now.
Dish and Dish is an event series, a testament to the adventurous spirit of Austin's food scene, a place where diverse tastes and stories come together to create something truly special.
