Event Attendee Code of Conduct
To keep things safe, inclusive, and fun for everyone, we ask all attendees to honor the following guidelines. Unsafe behavior may result in removal.
1. Be Kind & Inclusive
We welcome people of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences. Speak and act with respect to all other attendees. Be open to meeting new people.
2. Respect Boundaries
Everyone deserves to feel safe and comfortable.
3. Keep It Classy
We’re here to connect and have fun—not to offend or disrupt. Avoid inappropriate language, jokes, or comments. Be mindful of your tone and behavior with others. If you’re upset or frustrated, take a breather or ask a team member for help.
4. Protect Privacy
Let people be in the moment. Ask before taking or sharing photos/videos of others.
5. Be Responsible
If drinks are involved, enjoy—but stay in control. Know your limits and pace yourself. If you notice someone who’s had too much or seems unwell, let us know.
6. Speak Up if Needed
If something feels off—say something. You can always talk to an event organizer. We’re here to listen and take action when needed.
7. Consequences for Violations
We want everyone to have a great time, but safety and respect come first. Any behavior that goes against this code may result in removal from the event. Repeat or serious violations may lead to a ban from future events.
By attending an Eating Out Austin event, you agree to these guidelines. Thank you for being part of a community that values kindness, curiosity, and connection.
Need to talk to someone? Email Katrina@EatingOutAustin.com or speak with a team member at the event.
Thanks for helping us create a safe, inclusive space for everyone to enjoy.
